So, what's going to be added in the next Update?
Not decided just yet, working that on that asap :) Maybe some more club expansion
How many updates are planned in total? And how far are we from the final version of the game?
No amount of planned updates, as I'd like the game to be as large as possible. Considering the game is in more of a "concept" right now, there's a lot older content and story that has to be added in.

Was there an update recently?
Yesterday, there was a post on the developer's patreon stating that the update should be released this or next week.
for the free version aswell? So the itch version?
The author wrote that there will be an alpha test for level 3 subscribers first, and a full version release will take place 3 days later.

How do you get out of the underslum with all the homeless after they kidnap you?
It is not explained how to use items like lockpicks either on the various locked doors
